Actually, that's *because* of emissions regulations. In order to burn off the crap in the particulates trap, these new diesels have to intentionally run timing to ignite the exhaust out the tailpipe occasionally. Somehow, Ford got it so "right" that it just goes all flamethrower. :lol:

Oh, I'm fully aware of how particulate filters and diesel fuel timing work (used to work on heavy equip. for Cashman), just making fun of Ford for screwing up!
