WTB: Subaru block - any flat-4 - any condition
Need a block for mocking up stuff on an engine stand for upcoming awesomeness Subie products. It can have holes or cracks in it or whatever. A good deal on a short block would be okay too.
I assume that any Subie flat-4 engine block would work for this. Is there anything I should know or be looking out for? |
Well loren just got his tranny fixed so I would just wait around for a little bit and one might "fall into your lap". ;)

I've got a 2.0L short block in my garage, and some WRX heads down at GST that I'll get back when I pick up my car. Lemme know if that will help.
|
I've got a non running 1.8 long block. It did run but it grinded. get the thing out of my garage please. I've got a good running one too but someone else might want it, waiting to here from him.

You can have it for a beer. I'm not sure about the oilpan but I don't see any issues with the exhuast.I'm pretty sure they are similar, It's the older 4 port style.
