Comedy Gold...

Anyone that frequents NASIOC OT knows Asinine is a funny MF most the time, but this one had me laughing extra hard.....

Let's suppose you're injured and losing a lot of blood...
You're weakening quickly... you don't know how long until help arrives. Which of the following would you do?

1. Try to remain calm. Conserve energy, perhaps fashion a tournaquette.

2. Run around flailing your arms and screaming, "Blood is low! Blood is low! I'm low on blood! Argh! LOW ON BLOOD!"

Apparently the engineers at LG felt that cell phones should do the latter.

I fucking hate that my Razr vibrates every couple minutes when the battery is even remotely low. I leave it on vibrate most of the time. I can turn off the ringer and the vibrate but then I won't know when I get a call.

Yeah, I've always wondered about that with most cell phones. Why buzz and beep really loudly if the battery is about to die.

But, Ass9 put it in a great way.

That's one of the things I hate about my razr compared to my old nokia 3650. The nokia would give a soothing tone once every 4 hours or so when the battery was low. The moto beeps every couple of minutes. I usually just turn it off. Then I forget it's off and people can't call me and I can't waste minutes from my service provider. Their loss.

[army]Considering that a tourniquet usually results in the loss of the limb in question, I think I'd try something a little less extreme first. Pressure dressing, anyone?[/army]

:P

I recognize the humor, but I haven't had a cell since 2001. . . and mine didn't do that. It just turned off.
