Wicked Driveline Clunk...
Over the last few months my car has developed a terrible driveline clunking. This is a very hard, very deep clunking. Sounds like it is primarily coming from the rear end, but also some noise in the front is noticable too. This clunking only comes in when i turn in a small radius such as parking and such. Anyone have any idea? Im taking it to the dealership next week, but im always up for second oppions...

I would guess the rear-end LSD is bad. Does your car have a limited slip rear diff?

Yes....i guess this would help...

check you carrier on the drive shaft ( center section where the two join) might be loose. Mine came loose on the old sube and I had a clunking sound in tight turns and when I accelerated hard.

checked that area today...everything seemed tight. im not getting any noise from the diff when i manually rotate it. Also changed the rear diff fluid yesterday, no change there either. I think i may mount an under-car camera to see what exactly is going on...im getting quite annoyed.

Sounds like your center diff is binding. It's a common problem on older cars, but I've yet to hear of it in a new car. Probably want to check though.
