The Most Fun I've had in my WRX
Time for the next article. Deadline to Jim Gandy, newsletter editor is Sept. 9. (I've got to finish & send by then anyway, since I'm going to SCCA Nationals next week!)
Theme: the Most Fun I've had in my WRX ... for example: ... was at Sears Point in November 2002. I attended two days of an Audi Car Club driving school, followed by 2 days of a NASA HPDE, all in my WRX. I must have racked up 300+ track miles during those 4 days, learned a great deal about the WRX's handling and performance capabilities, met a number of other WRX owners, and won some cool prizes given away by Santa Cruz Subaru during the HPDE. That weekend was an ideal validation that I had made the right decision in my vehicle purchase - providing performance, versatility, and Fun! |
uh oh... here come the sexual references...

Hey Scott, I'm updating the wrx article to include a reference to the road trip you guys took in August to Fort Bragg -- ok?
And if ok, would you mind if we included a picture? (I'll add photopher credits). |

Thanks; I'm also going to clip part of your writeup about Gary Sheehan (crosses fingers Gary doesn't mind being mentioned).

Oh, some of the pictures were taken by me, but most of the pics were by JC while I was driving.
Here's a particularly good one: [img:9332a9d529=600]http://www.seccs.org/gallery/Reno%20Meets/2003-08-02%20NorCal%20Road%20Trip%20with%20BAIC%20Guys/DSCF0334%20Hwy%201S.JPG[/img:9332a9d529] The rest are here: http://www.seccs.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=497 |
