Paintball?
 

I've got my 15yo grandson here for a few days. Is there any paintball parks, inside or outside in the Reno/Sparks area? I know there is a park out at Fernley, but that seems like a long way to go and probably really hot. I'm old and about to be multi-colored.

Herbies in Fernley is pretty much the only place to go anymore. Its not that far of a drive if your going to make a day of it 10-4. My friends and I go out there all the time to shoot paint at Dean and Scott and they drive by. Its normally only open on saturday unless you call them and set a time during the week. I would call and see if there are any groups that you can get in on. Oh, and buy your paintballs before you go out there, to save money.

Do they rent out the guns? What are the typical prices?

Thanks for the info, I was hoping there was something indoors. Us old guys can't handle the heat and we like to lurk in the dark.

Is there still laser tag at the Grand Sierra (Hilton)

You would be surprised, it really doesn't get that hot out there. Despite the fact that its in the middle of the desert.

last time i was at herbies it was 103. paintballing in a wifebeater FTMFW.

if you dont like the heat like someone else said check out the laser tag in the hilton. they just redid it and did a really good job.

if you decide to go paintballing let me know i have old gear you can borrow for free to save some mula.

How many are on a typical team?

One hundred BILLION! or usually 8 vs. 8 The most I have seen while at herbies is like 25 on 25.

i played a game at action games in sacramento that was like 50 v 50.

i prefer 5 v 5 7v7 is fun too.

Hilton Laser Tag = Almost Lame
