Its an iPhone without the phone. And I just pre-ordered a 16GB one.

Also, for those still on the fence about the iPhone, the 4GB version has been dropped and the 8GB version has dropped in price to $399. The last bit of stock on the 4GB ones will run for $299 until supplies are exhausted.

The rest of the updates from Apple are a new iPod Nano (dubbed the "fatty" because it is shorter and squatter) and an update to the iPod, now called the iPod Classic and in 80GB and 160GB flavors.

Actually, my wife may be getting a 1gb ipod shuffle (or an equivalent that runs WMA) for work soon.

I picked up a Zune the other day when they dropped to $200.

On a side note an "iPod touch" sounds like something Chris Hanson would bust you on if you tried to give one to a kid.

I'm going to start calling in the iTouch anyway.

I saw them in SanFran in July it rocked.

I just stopped by the Apple store here in town.

I was about to cancel my order and just buy one in the store, but my order is already "packaged for shipment" (aka, can't cancel anymore). But anyway, I played with one for a little bit, and they are sweet.

I have to say, after seeing those new nano's in store, I kinda like them now.

They are super thin. Like wafer thin.

It's the name of a band, and the last name of it's lead singer, Leslie Feist.

Does she feist as much as Richard did?
