Legacy

Attempted to give Lithia of Reno some money today but had to walk the F*&^k out the door. Yes, they had the color and the model but that damn spoiler on the trunk. I would not pay for the hunk of shit on the trunk, so the deal stalled out and went into a death spiral straight into the ground. Man do they ever cry on your way out the door. The search will continue tomarrow but I'm feeling a bit sour over the whole deal tonight.

<requisite statement that Lithia sucks with explanation that Jeremy is cool though>

MattR 2007-10-04 03:43 PM

Try Michael Hohl in Carson.

NevadaSTi 2007-10-04 03:45 PM

Or South Shore Motors in Tahoe.

I think Goldrush Subaru in Auburn has the non-spoiler model I'd like. Plus, there price may be coming in at under 20k before tax and "stuff".

Nick Koan 2007-10-04 03:48 PM

That might be the way to go. If that falls through though, Michael Hohl will give you a good deal. Especially if at some point you say "I was looking to get one at Lithia..."

What color are you getting?

MikeK 2007-10-04 03:54 PM

I would rather stab myself in the face than ever buy a car from Lithia again. Run away as fast as you can!

sybir 2007-10-04 03:56 PM

I have a better solution. Buy a wagon :D

Newport Blue if I get one. I'm also thinking about sticking with my little white
Toyota and paying off the wifes Jeep with the money from the WRX sale.:(
I think the idea sucks but we'll see what the wife thinks when she gets home. Maybe I'll get some good points just for offering to payoff the Jeep.

Not being in recockulous debt is unamerican. If you pay that shit off the terrorists win!

Kevin M 2007-10-04 05:18 PM

It's cool, just get an equity loan after paying off the Jeep to buy a Legacy GT.

Drive directly down to Maita. They did me right on the WRX.

Lithia had me literally slamming my fist on the desk demanding the keys to the S4 back....we ended up getting the Outback from them anyway...pukes.

+1 for Jeremy. He T's C of B.

Send emails to every internet sales manager within a $150 or less Southwest flight with your exact requirements asking for best out the door price including tax, all fees, etc. emails should be on Subaru or dealership web sites. The later are definitely on Subaru web site.

Your savings may pay for a mini vacation to wherever it is for you and your wife.

I know a couple people who have done this.

M3n2c3 2007-10-04 09:29 PM

I've done ok at Michael Hohl. I managed to get my RS for invoice and knocked the Forester down from 10k to 8k.

Just buy a Volvo if your looking for a vacation!

ScottyS 2007-10-05 11:00 AM

That's what you get for not demanding a wagon.

Seriously? Find the right car at the right price and fly there.....

Joeyy 2007-10-05 05:34 PM

Present state of my garage is with Legacy.:D

The wife has the camera in her Jeep but I guess I could use the video camera.

Quick pictures at the request of the JDM Cowboy.

I like the first picture because it has the kart in the background.

Very nice.

Where did it come from?
