diff rebuild service in reno ?
hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows of a moderately price differential rebuild place in reno, OR if someone knows how to rebuild miata diffs.
i burnt up my ring and pinion at the last autocross out at lovelock and finally found another replacement (3.909 instead of 4.1) but i don't have any of the tools to properly setup the diff or i would try it myself. so if u guys can refer me to to someone or someplace that would be great = ) Scott |
Driveline Specialties (I think that's what it's called) on Glendale east of Rock. They do really good work. Dunno about competitive prices, but they've got a great reputation for solid work. I've had them build a couple race car diffs for straight-lining, and they've always been quick and done good work.
oh yeah, did you ever get that thing smogged? |

Also, I know C & C in sparks knows Miata's pretty well, just not sure if you're in a hurry or not. |
yea i went to them about a week ago.... they wanted $375 for labor, no parts at all. it may be high quality work and priced well, but im a straight up cheapass. thats why i race a miata and not a suby -_-"
i actually just got it registered today... lol...cough....friend....lives...in fernley...cough cough. |
