WTB: '07 Legacy Parts
I jus got a 07 Legacy 2.5i. Lookin for any websites or help i can get exhaust or somethin performance...:?:
Come on its a Legacy. Let it be what it is and just enjoy the ride man.
Rims and suspension. You aren't getting anything out of that 2.5i. What happened to the Legacy GT idea? How is TX?
I got this legacy for 10K under askin so i thought it would be a deal. What i want is a nice flowing exhaust and intake to get my mpg to 35. but no where to be found. TX sucked for awhile but it is gettin better. No one out here autoX or anything. Jus a bunch of fwd ricers wit cans. Hows NV??? Snow Yet??? I miss it
I don't think there's any way the 2.5L is going to manage 35mpg. . .
I also don't think there are any aftermarket exhausts for the 05+ n/a Legacy. |
Some Summit parts and a shop/welder will get you a nice cat back for a couple hundred bucks.
Yeah, I don't really follow the N/A stuff too much anymore, but I do remember reading posts by N/A guys on LegacyGT.com complaining about the lack of bolt on exhaust options.
yeah on LegacyGT.com they said most of the axle-backs for the gt fit the NA but i dunno which ones. Only axle backs for the NA that i know of are the AVOs. But i did get a cheap intake off ebay for a 93-01 impreza that replaces the intake and uses the stock air box. What i am really lookin for is a little more boxer sound cuz i miss my 'rx...
stock: 30-Hwy 21-city... I bet i can squeeze 5 mpg out of it. Its all highways and freeway here anyways.
That's wild, because it's only rated at 20/27. . . and the ratings are usually a bit generous. I've averaged ~24mpg since buying my RS, and a header and catback did not noticeably alter my mileage one way or the other.
But yeah, sounds like GT axlebacks with custom fab mid might be a decent choice. |
I've been getting 30 mpg steady on the 08 even with going up and down the hill. I short shift it alot and also get passed ALOT. Figure after the first couople oil changes it may get even better with synthetic oil.

Cool :)
