I have been making some headway on my car sense i have been back in reno. here are some of my latest pictures. does anyone know how much stock axles can handle? any advice on axles that can handle power/track abuse. thanks guys

I have afriend in utah who has a drag purpose sti that puts down 800 whp ona dynojet but has stock running gear in it except the clutch of course....id run it until it breaks but doubt it ever will..my $.02

Sam, why not just upgrade the turbo and do supporting mods? 400 whp wouldn't be too difficult to achieve while also saving time and money on internal work.
If it were me I'd skip the widebody kit too. You can fit some decent size tires without widening the fenders. The BBK isn't a bad idea though, especially if your plan is being on the track quite a bit. I know you have the means to do all the things you listed, but if you want to compete why not spend the money on your driving instead of things that you don't really need? |
