18 psi
 

i know its another dumb question but is it safe that in 4th gear floored i hit 18 psi? im in a 05 sti with turbo back exhaust and stage 2 flash with cobb ap. :)

The description file for the map you loaded should give boost targets.

The '04 STI Stage 2 map says "Target boost pressure is 17.5psi +/- 0.5psi depending on vehicle and conditions. Boost will taper at redline due to air flow limitations of the VF39 turbocharger."

Also, from memory, 18psi sounds about right for a Stage 2 STi map.

how long ago did put that map in??? their are a number of things that affect boost psi...the knock threshold should be setup to where you shouldn't have any worries at that boost with a decent map...
