Whats up with teh "grenade" sticker?

I have seen grenade stickers all over the damn place and as far as I know, its just for a company that makes gloves. Am I missing something? Are these the best damn gloves ever? In any case this has become the new roxy sticker and I feel its played out. $.02

They are lame, that's why I roll with a sticker of Calvin peeing on a grenade, much more hard core. Especially when you see it next to my 'In memory of "3"...' Sticker.

AtomicLabMonkey 2008-01-10 01:11 AM

Don't disrespect the #3, fucker.

Yeah, it's Grenade gloves. I can't believe people are still putting those stickers on their cars!

When I was in High School, like five years ago, Grenade was just starting out. My friend Megan (also friends with Jonny and Bobby) was doing some logo design work for them, so to help her and the company a couple of us rocked their stickers on our cars. I had one on my Honda and one on my RS.

Yes, I'm the grenade OG.

They make snowboard clothes and goggles and other stuff now too not just gloves... I agree that it is pretty played out though.

When I was working at teh Atlantis there was a whorey(awesome new word!)cocktail waitress that had a double roxy lower back tattoo.

bxracer69 2008-01-11 06:44 PM

plus grenade is huge around us with Danny living down in Mammoth and they push alot of product on the west coast/ tahoe area

JonnydaJibba 2008-01-12 08:48 PM

A couple of my friends have them on their cars and they don't even ski or snowboard.... >_< That's when I knew it became a trend. I have a few Grenade articles, which are getting pretty old. But my jacket has held up very well, through like 3 or 4 winters now.

I know dude, typing that made me feel old.

My Grenade gloves and pants are still holding up quite well. I used them a couple of weeks ago when I went skiing on a glacier in south-east Germany.

I've got a funny story about my Grenade gloves for you. When Grenade first started out the military-themed riding gear was popular. At the time I knew nothing about any of the branches and still had never thought about joining. Last winter I had to supervise a project that our civilians were working on in the middle of the night, so I pulled the gloves out of riding bag and realized that my current rank (E-4) Senior Airman was stamped on the back side of the gloves. The best part about it is the gloves meet appearance regulations so I wear them quite often at work now. I have a bunch of people ask me where I had them "made" and I just tell them, "I know people that know people."

tysonK 2008-01-13 10:41 AM

That's cool.

I'm finally learning military Ranks via Call of Duty 4

Libila 2008-01-13 03:31 PM

pssh, that's Marine rank...

GC8.Love 2008-01-14 12:25 PM

JonnydaJibba 2008-01-17 08:02 PM

Tsk tsk.

100_Percent_Juice 2008-01-17 11:54 PM

Get out of my thread! ...nerds.

nickyreno 2009-09-02 11:56 PM

I have one on my mudflap, but I have 2 pairs and love them. Most kids that have the sticker don't even have grenade gloves or don't even snowboard/ski but I agree they are so played out it's not even funny. They are as bad as goggles on the rear-view mirror.

bigrobwoot 2009-09-03 06:08 AM

Holy bump Nicky!

The trendy girl thing to do is to leave off the "G" and the "S" so it says "L(grenade)VE", usually in pink. Super trendy

nickyreno 2009-09-03 11:25 AM

Yeaa chicks do that it's gayyy. I did have the grenade fingers peace but took it off on account it made me look like a hippy.
