It's like 1000 times more fun than autocross. Plus, one track day is more seat time than a season and a half of autocross.

Yah, I was asking the new guy...

You can ask anyone what 2+2 is... the answer is still gonna be 4. :P

Right, but how annoying is it when you're shooting the shit and you ask somebody why they made a certain decision to stop doing something and some retard with a helmet (who you aren't even talking to) shouts out their opinion on the subject. Yes, Scott, I think you're socially retarded.

^^them's fightin' words...

And welcome Skidder.

You want to ask a question to someone without the option of others chiming in, use the PM feature. Otherwise, threads are fair game. C'mon man, how long have you been using the internet?

Plus, my answer doesn't preclude Skidder from giving you his answer, but I'll bet it's pretty similar to mine. Pretty much everyone that's made the move from autocross to track, has done so for the exact reasons I mentioned.

cody 2008-08-29 12:20 PM

I want to ask a question to someone? Chiming in is one thing, but especially to someone who talks shit to me for posting absolutely relevent commentary (you), I still say answering for others is socially retarded.

Gimme a break man... the whole freaking point of a forum is to allow a multi-person discussion. You want to talk to just one person, PM them. That's what it's for.

And where am I talking shit to you? You posted a question about why people drop autocross for track... as a person that's done exactly that, I figure my opinion is plenty valid to warrant a response.

As far as being socially retarded... you're the one that shat all over this thread and turned it into a worthless discussion when you decided to pick a fight with this crap: "Yah, I was asking the new guy..." Congrats on being the retard in this thread, homey.

cody 2008-08-29 01:01 PM

There's a multi-person discussion, and then there's answering for someone else. I know you're too inbread to realize it so I think we're done here.

As for you talking shit to me, I was referring to this post where you shat all over yet another perfectly enjoyable conversation, Homey.

Oh, and BTW, :P I hope you know I'm just giving you shit for fun and not really this much of an asshole.

Please tell me...

...it isn't that bad when Scott and I argue over minutia compared to these ugly girl slap fights he and Cody have gotten into recently. (Ugly girl because nobody really wants to watch and slap fight because it doesn't really hurt anyone.) :D

If it is, I humble apologize and will attempt to refrain in the future... but will probably fail. :(

cody 2008-08-29 01:26 PM

FWIW, I like to watch ugly girl slap fights.

MikeK 2008-08-29 01:57 PM

Cody is just angry that someone is stealing the group 5 newspaper autox trophy. Frankly, I don't blame him for reacting this way.

If I appeared to be answering for someone, it's only because I wasn't exactly long winded with the disclaimers about how I was speaking for myself ('course, who else could I be speaking for?). It's never been much of a problem in the past... you just seemed to take great exception to it this time around. :?:

But the difference between the post you linked to and this thread is that when I was ribbing you I wasn't using personal attacks like "retard with a helmet", "socially retarded", or "inbread". It's tough to tell the difference between ribbing and being an asshole if your ribbing involves coming out guns blazing.

*sigh* Look Scott, if you're going to dish it out, you're going to have to learn to take it. I didn't take umbrage to this post even though you "came out guns blazing".

What's fallacious about me calling something weird, "weird"? Here, let me rewrite my post so you can unbunch your panties.

"That behavior that you guys have observed is not as designed. I must have been lucky because I did not experience that behavior, even though it's commonly noted to behave incorrectly. Also, Cody's mom doesn't charge the first week of each month, I suggest check her website out at www.weirdsexlady.com."

Prior to this post, our conversation was fairly civil. To be honest, it didn't offend me at all. I can tell when somebody is just ribbing and I don't let arguments over the internet bug me. If I did, I wouldn't be here. I think one of us does need to unbunch their panties, and mine are G-string so...
