is anybody up for goin to the black rock desert next week some time? i dont have a date set yet but i really want to go. i think we should get some video footage out there doin some 75 mph drifts.ill come up with a date thur or fri.

ok i have some bad news. if the playa is wet we cannot go on it. i talked with a few people today and they all said the same. when that specific type of dirt is wet. it turns into a muddy clay-like quick sand. and we will sink and get stuck. from what i heard its nasty stuff. i dont know about anyone else but i dont wanna get stuck out there.so hopefully it will stop snowing untill we get done out there,other wise we might have to wait untill we have a good week of good weather just to be safe. :cry:

Yeah, if it is wet, there's no chance for traveling on it. It cakes up and sticks to itself, impossible to drive on. So yeah, I don;t know if the weather is going to cooperate with your trip.

Lets hope it does. We can always do it Thursday Sean! But whenever works. :roll:

all we need it two more days of no weather and we should be ok...i hope ...right? if it dosent do anything tomorrow do you wanna go on tuesday?..maybe we can go out there and pull up some dirt to see how bad it is and if its nasty we could at least call it an ok raod trip.
