USTCC at Sears Point this weekend Oct 25 & 26

ooh ooh ooh... I wanna go!! Who's coming!? And who's got a place for us to stay?... Maybe I should give my parents a call... we can stay at Hotel Perry again. :lol:

The Dowdy Livermore Chateau always has futon and floor space.. :lol:

Damn, this is some short notice... anyone have a schedule of events... maybe we drive down Saturday afternoon, and kick it in the Bay that night, then hit up Sears for the race if it's on Sunday... then head back to Reno directly?

Looks like USTCC, Spec Miata, SE-R Cup, and Honda Challenge all race together at 12:30 on Sunday. They also qualify Sat at 10am, and Sunday at 10am.

I'm thinking if we go, we drive to the Bay Saturday afternoon, then try to get out to Sears at like 7 or 8 am on Sunday. Then leave the track at like 3:30 or so. That way we'll catch 2nd Qualifying for USTCC, and the race, as well as the Legends and Porsche races.

If it's just me and few people, we can stay at my parent's house in Danville, otherwise some people might have to take Austin up on his offered floor.

So who want's to go?

I don't think I'm gonna make it. I've got my Dad in town this weekend, so you guys should go and take lots of pictures...

Austin, we're not going to stay in the Bay Area. We're gonna crash at my sister's place in Sacramento since it's about halfway betwen Reno and Sonoma. If you want to meet us out at Infineon, we'll be there around 9am Sunday! Call my cell!

Well, despite the additional intake restrictions, Gary was still able to take home 2nd!

The video clips are from my digital camera that can also take limited video. The "raw" footage is just as you see it except it's uncompressed .AVI instead of the DivX encoded AVIs I put up on already. I have one more video: Sonoma USTCC Turn 2 Lap 3 divx.avi It's labled "lap 3" but I think it's actually more like lap 8 or 9...

If you'd like I can upload the uncompressed .AVIs when I get home from work tonight, they total about 100MBs.
