I'm new here!

I've known about SECCS for a few years now, and I finally got a Subaru so I decided I'm gonna lurk here more often...

One question, when and where is the next meet?

Except when it's lying.

wrxkidid 2009-01-23 02:57 PM

but it still might be telling the truth but just wants you to think its lying......

welcome.

ScottyS 2009-01-23 03:10 PM

Except when it's telling the truth because it knows you wouldn't believe the lies either.

I play a lot of everything, mainly Electro House, Drum & Bass, and Dubstep though.

MattR 2009-01-25 08:59 AM

Nice.

Arrows 2009-01-25 12:54 PM

Thats just what I play at Raves around Reno though.

I listen to a lot of everything, mainly bands like KMFDM, Rammstein, Combichrist and a lot of other "Industrial" music. Those are my favorites.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-01-25 01:08 PM

The only "industrial" that I can say I listened to back in the day was Fear Factory. That was fun to listen to while playing marathon.

Nick Koan 2009-01-25 01:20 PM

Fear Factory is more metal than anything else. They definitely had some industrial influences (and an industrial producer for their early albums) but they were metal.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-01-25 01:28 PM

I have never been good at classifying music genre. I just came to the conclusion that with an album titled Demanufacture and the sounds of a hammer hitting an anvil in the background that they must be industrial. However like you said the classification can change with each new album.

Dean 2009-01-25 02:32 PM

Not that it is anywhere near perfect, but Wikipedia often has Genre & SubGenre/Style on the album and even the song level depending if someone has bothered to enter them. Better the ultra generic stuff on iTunes or most other places. Discogs is OK, but not great too.

tysonK 2009-01-25 02:45 PM

are there really "raves around reno"?
