Senior Project help!!

So, I am a senior and I have to do a big project. I have decided to do it on the History and Evolution of Subaru.
I was wondering if anyone has any kind of books about Subarus. If you do, I would like to borrow them. If you have any, please let me know as I need the books before Friday.
Also, if anyone would like to put their .02 cents in on this topic, feel free.
Thanks in advance,
Mike.

Miami sucks. Dan Marino is old.

moose 2009-02-02 06:53 PM

thanks for the help guys.

 The funny thing about your comment is not that you said Dan Marino is old. Its the fact that when you said "Dan Marino" I instantly thought of Ace Ventura Pet Detective, not football.

Sorry. We suck.

What are you planning on writing about, since there's like a million things that you could focus on:

Subaru in the US?
Subaru's development of green technology?
Subaru's employment of technology in general (advantages of flat motors, AWD, turbos, etc)?
Subaru's World Rally Program (sad ending :()?
Subaru's business strategy?
A history of Subaru ad campaigns?
etc.

A good start looking for sources is to hit up the Wiki pages for Subaru and Fuji Heavy Industry. Check out the wiki's source lists.

Wikipedia!

moose 2009-02-02 07:15 PM

Well, I already have my sources from the internet. I am writing about every thing you said Scott. Even a old issue of Subiesport Magazine would be fine.

I'm glad nobody wanted to hear what a 18 year old thinks about major topics in written form when I was in school.

I have these two

The one on the left has some good chronological information,
the one on the right is bound backwards, and may have been* used to kill a bug when it was brought out for this picture. You're welcome to use them for your project.

Those do have lots of pictures. Remember size 14 font and double spaced.

ASS!!!!!!

You know how some of the mags/books have japenese on the cover and have some sort of English writing either at the bottom of each page(ie. subtitles) or like next to each/some of the pictures.

van 2009-02-04 04:52 PM

Its all Japanese,

or Korean,
or maybe Chinese?
Definantly not English:)

dknv 2009-02-05 10:03 PM

If you guys drive a Japanese car, you ought to recognize some Japanese characters, for God's sakes!

I hope you found what you needed to finish your project.

I must say, when I first read the title of this thread, a different kind of theme came to mind -- you know, "senior project help!!!", might also be known as "helping someone having a senior moment", or "senior with arthritis needs an extra pair of hands", or some other such neediness. :)

I figured it was about Dean?

Bump!

Does anybody have any book stuff about Legacys? Techinical books would be good too.
Also, anybody have anything on the SVX? They have to be something besides internet.
Thanks,
Mike
