Exhaust leak?

So I bought an APEXi GT exhaust off a guy in sac. I love the exhaust. But after I installed it me and a friend noticed that one of the hangers was missing on it. So I kinds blew it off and went on with life. So a few days ago it started rattling when I hit bumps or was in low rpm's. So I've tried thinking of things to replace the missing hanger, but I can't think of anything and came to the conclusion that I'm going to either take it to a muffler shop or find somebody to weld a new one on. So then tonight I was going into town and heard a "pssssshhhhh" sound. Would that happen to be an exhaust leak from it rattling around so much? And is this going to be okay for a couple days until I get back from sacramento, or is it urgent that can't wait until the weekend?

And do any of you know a way I could temporarily fix this until I get a new hanger welded on there?

I wouldn't think you would hear a psssh sound. Usually if there is a leak in the exhaust it will be a constant pulsing. Did you get a catback or turboback? Usually if you drive the car on ramps you can get under there and hear where its coming from. About the exhaust hanger, I think there are clamp on hangers at summit. I will look.

EDIT: This is the one that I would choose if I was doing it.http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Catback. yea, loren told me the same thing tonight. He told me it would be really loud. but he could feel a little bit of a leak when he reached under there. And thanks for the link for the hangers. Im going to order them in the morning. you sure that will fit? It's the exact same exhaust loren has.

I don't know if it will fit or not. Drive down to summit and tell them whats up and you can see the part before you buy it. They might have some better advice for you. It may be that you need a new gasket also.

Okay. I'll go down tomorrow. Where's summit? Well I just put a new gasket on when I put the exhaust on.
