Verizon users might now become AT&T users?

Sucks that Verizon users will have to buy new phones but at least they will get AT&Ts great coverage. I know what verizon says about their network but my friend's verizon coverage sucks. AT&T FTW!
|
Verizon doesn't have the most coverage, their claim is that if you have a signal, you're less likely to get disconnected.
|
I don't mind getting a new phone if its free. It just figures they have to do this right after I buy a blackberry.
|
At least now you can get an iPhone :)

Alltel or Sprint will end up with their antennas since they do AT&T no good and you will be able to use either of their networks without changing phones.
This may be a windfall for both of those carriers in those states. Since they are buying Alltel, I bet there will be a nice campaign to switch you to Alltel to maintain your existing coverage/service... |
I had ATT a few years ago and my girlfriend has it but my past few years with verizon have been good. Her phone rarely has better reception and her phone drops calls way more often. It always drops in the same place near the Golden Valley exit on her way to and from home. I also like how verizon phones don't cause feedback on PC speakers like ATT phones do.

Heck yeah I hate that when I'm in the car I can tell when my Iphone is going to go off because the radio starts Fritzen! arg.
|
Thats actually pretty sick, Verizon sucks horribly. The reception blows...everybody I know with AT&T has full bars when I am walking around trying to get a signal.

I hated the speaker buzz on the 1g through my tivoli speakers at work, since I've had the 3g the problem is alleviated with the exception off the one outage that left me stuck with edge and an annoying garage stereo.
