Anybody done a wheel bearing on a ford 4x4?

My F150 is making typical wheel bearing noises on the front left.

Never done one on a Ford 4x4 (manual hubs)

Anybody have any experience doing them? Probably self evident, but thought I'd ask. I read something about needing some special socket on the manual hubs???

Its funny that you ask. My dad has an f350 with manual hubs and we just replaced the u joint and hub in it not too long ago. I can't remember exactly how the hub came out but I can ask him. I figure the fords should be pretty similar.

I'd appreciate any info. Should be similar even though the 350 is an 8 bolt vs. my 5 bolt.

I am guessing, but probably need 2 bearings and 2 seals? I assume I'll have to inspect the races, but since it just started making noise, hopefully they are fine.
