Please see: ...snip...

Reply to the ad or by PM, thanks.

For Reno people I would be willing to meet halfway and knock off some $ for no shipping/paypal fees.

Cory (MPREZIV) is looking for a quiet catback. He has an RS, but it should fit. He might want it.

DaveWRX is looking for a quieter catback for his buddy's WRX also

Actually I'm going to just trade my invidia for his...

MPREZIV 2009-07-24 06:48 AM

WRX fitment isn't the same as RS fitment. Wouldn't wanna buy a pretty, expensive, new catback, and immediately hack it up to make it fit my car...

szucchet 2009-07-24 09:13 AM

Same thing that happend to my cobb catback. It's a great catback sounds really good

TrueNative 2009-07-24 11:54 AM

I'm still in the market, PM sent......

bigrobwoot 2009-07-24 12:30 PM

Cory, just buy a couple flanges and weld up your own taper to go from 2.25" to 3". Money

Kevin M 2009-07-24 01:54 PM

I'm pretty sure that falls under "immediately hack it up to make it fit my car." Besides, I'm hooking him up with my Stromung next week.

bigrobwoot 2009-07-24 01:56 PM

No, you make an additional piece to bolt between the catpipe and midpipe

Kevin M 2009-07-24 07:36 PM

Which would require hacking either the catpipe or midpipe, since they bolt together.

DUB 2009-07-24 08:35 PM

my own for sale thread made me lol.

Why would you have to hack it when you are adding a piece to be bolted in between?

Can't add a pice without cutting out a piece, unless you don't mind the exhaust just dragging along behind the car.

You just mount a tiny wheel under the muffler.

Kevin M 2009-07-25 12:36 PM

I actually realized today that I had forgotten- there's a gap between the end of an NA catpipe and the start of a turbo catback. That's where the adapter would go.

bigrobwoot 2009-07-25 04:17 PM

Thank you. I figured if I sat out long enough it'd get figured out ;)
