Free to good home--BY 9-24-09! Sacto, CA Area

Hi there,

Have 1984 Subaru GL Wagon, 2WD model. Parked years ago after we got bigger car. Love this car and don't want it to get squished...anyone mechanically minded that is willing to fix it up can come and get it. Location Carmichael (Sacramento area) California.

Not running now but charge the battery and it can most likely be moved. It was running when we parked it. I always hoped to have $'s to fix up but didn't happen. Best to plan on a flatbed tow truck tho to be safe.

Send email to me re details. MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN SEPT 24th end of day.
We just moved and it's still at the old house. Of course can't find pprwork after the move so will need someone with patience while I sort thru files and boxes trying to find it all...auggh!!

Thanks for considering...if no takers must give to charity....hoping tho someone in your club is interested in giving my beloved wagon a good home.

V.

It is in Sac, so not really worth the fuel to go get it hauling the trailer. :(

Give it a little longer, and maybe post some pictures.

I have a buddy who is pretty bad need of a car to get around with... any idea of the major issues that it has? Do you know whats needed to get it on the road?

it's been parked for years, needs battery, prob new tires, and TLC. If your friend is mechanically inclined might be good to tinker with. I'm not a mechanic tho so can't really tell you, just that it's sat for a long time. We did move it once tho, my bro in law came over with a battery charger, fired it up, drove it around the block (black smoke from sitting so long !) then we parked it in it's new place and that's where it's been for years. Note it's in Sacto area...did I post on the wrong message board?
