http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/v...e/DSC_0498.jpg
http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/v...e/DSC_0500.jpg http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/v...e/DSC_0501.jpg front axle-$25 ac compressor-$25 sway bars-$15 each front wrx calipers and brackets-$25 anything else you see in the picture make me an offer on. i want this stuff out of my garage!! |
Look like NTSB investigation scene.
I can't see the pics, but I'll buy the calipers. I don't think I need them but that's a good price and I may have some damage on my front DS one.
i dont know what ntsb is.. haha..
and pm'd you cody |
The axle is sedan specific, I assume?
i dont know about that. i do axles on subarus all day long, and i use the same axle, sedan or wagon, but that is on outbacks, foresters, and legacy. not on wrx's so that i am not 100% sure on
Front control arms are different, so I would assume that the halfshafts are different too. The sedan ones should be a bit longer to account for the wider track.
Call the AZ guys. It looks like they are different, but I can't be sure from their web site.
http://sd.autohausaz.com/autohausaz/...xle%20Assembly P.S. Which AC soft/hard lines do you have? Compressor to firewall??? Compressor to condenser??? How beat is the condenser. the picture makes it look like it has a bunch of mangled fins. |
Thanks for the brakes Andy.
The wagon has shorter axles but it's by a small amount. When doing a sedan front track conversion on a wagon, the wagon fitment axles work. |
That makes sense.
Dean-im not sure what ac lines i have. i need to go double check. and the condenser is a little beat up, but still working when i took it out.
Cody- youre welcome. anything to help out a fellow subie guy in town. and its alright, i think someone may pic it up if they rip an axle boot and need to replace it. |
does the ac compressor work andy if it came or your 03 should work on my 03
i do believe it works fine.. it came off working, i just dont need it anymore. and yes it will work with your car too.
ok ill take it then could you give me the numbers off the compressor please and do i see a hawk brake pads box
ill grab the numbers in the am.. and yes it is, but there arent hawk pads in there though..lol..sorry albert
haha damnit
Any idea if the RSB is 20mm? I've been meaning to replace my 17mm for a while now.
im not sure what the size on the rear sway bar is.
albert-here is the ac comp number http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/v...IMGP1444-1.jpg and here are the numbers off the tranny, you cant really see one of the tags, but here you go. http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/v...IMGP1442-1.jpg http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/v...IMGP1443-1.jpg |
You have a dirty thumb.
haha.. stupid drum brakes on an intrepid.. theyll get you that way
Sizing the RSB is pretty easy- just stick a 20mm wrench over it and see if there is 0 or 3 mm of clearance. ;)
haha.. good point kevin.. I wasnt really thinking..
If Cody hasn't picked up that Axle I might buy that off you. since my pass side's boot I just found out is torn at the Clamp. That is, if it will work on MY04.
Any word on AC lines?
Hey thanks Andy for that axle. Nice seeing you again man.
