96' Honda Civic DX *70k miles*

So, I have a 96' honda civic dx hatch that I'm thinking of selling. First off, this car has NOTHING wrong with it mechanically. It runs great and a/c blows cold. I am in NO rush to sell this thing so any negative comments can be left to yourself. The car is very nice and has very few flaws besides the hood and roof (listed below). On with the specs

goods:
70K original miles
CF duckbill
jdm ctr window visors
ex arm rest
rota 15" GT3 wheels
omni full coils
ctr style grill
ctr style lip

bads:
roof is faded
hood has hail damage which caused the clear on it to crack

Price=
$4,500 as it sits
$4,000 on stockies
$3,500 bone stock with original stock parts.

NO TRADES

Yeah, that's kind of a cool car. I'm not a Honda guy, but I've got a soft spot for the hatches. That would make a great daily driver for someone, or a decent (though maybe a little expensive) starting point for a fun track car.

thanx guys. price is a little high due to miles and interior is almost flawless.

the car will be reverted back to stock this saturday.

My "little expensive" comment was based on someone looking for a race shell. I would think you could get a Honda hatch w/ a salvage title and beat interior for under $1000. So picking your car up for a race car project is too expensive.

But as a daily driver, a $4,000 asking price doesn't seem all that high... though I don't really know what the market for these things looks like.

I like the hatches too, but the generation before this one. I'm getting old.

I don't think the price is out of line given the cleaness and low mileage, if the car has not been flogged, that's decent for someone wanting a good commuter with 100k left in it.

Well maintained Civics regularly reach 250K miles don't they? We just sold Amanda's with 190K miles IIRC for $2K. Bluebook was $3.2K IIRC.

Yeah, I just prefer the conservative side of the bell curve.

ya, these cars will go for ever. my first car was a 91 civic si with 245k miles on it and drove perfect with no leaks of any kind and dint burn oil.

thanx for the comments guys, i really want to see this thing go to a good home.
