Primitive Rally School @ Thunder Hill

Just to see if anyone else would like to go. I've already pre-registered.

What: Three days of instruction starting with about 5 hours of classroom training on Friday night (approx 5pm-10:15pm)

TSD (Time/Speed/Distance) and DRIVING exercises on Saturday.

Full RallyCross competition on Sunday. All driving in a large, open, safe field.

When: 26-28 March 2010

Where: Thunder Hill Raceway in Willows California

$330 for a 2.5 day Rally school is an incredible deal, plus you get 2 coefficients from Rally America for attending!

Wow, that's pretty sweet. Do they provide cars?

Libila 2009-11-17 08:36 PM

No, but you can rent one of their cars.

I'll already have my snow tires on so I'll just have to throw on the skid plates and I'll be Rallyx ready!

Sounds like a blast!

From what I've read the rentals cars are pretty awesome cars, like RA prepared WRXs, and they only cost around $300-400 for the weekend to include gas and clean up. You can share cars too, or bring your navigator for a discounted rate.

Bobby, want to co-drive?

For those interested in renting a car...

UP2MTNS from Dirty Impreza is renting his '04 WRX that is prepped for NASA and RA (I believe). Here's what he said, "....will have fairly new tires on it, obviously fully prepped, gravel suspension, 270wtq, etc, etc. $350 for the weekend. Multi-driver car? 2nd person only $150 extra....so split it and its $250 each. Must be around 5'11" (or taller) and no heavier than 210lbs/36" waist or else the seat will be too low or too tight." There might be a straight cut dogbox installed too!

So for around $700 you can go to a two and a half day rally school and drive an actual rally car the entire time!
