Monthly Reno SCCA meeting, Wed Dec 3 - 6pm - Austin's Rest.

Don't forget the Reno Region is electing officers this Wednesday, so if you haven't voted by e/mail yet, come on down to Austin's (S. Virginia, near Longley Winner's Corner) at 6pm this Wednesday.

We'll also be discussing the NORPAC convention more than likely.

Speaking of NORPAC, Matt did you ever talk to Subaru or the Atlantis? The convention is rapidly approaching, we need to put together a game plan, let me know what I can do to help get things lined up for the corral!

No, I haven't heard a thing yet. I haven't been very proactive though, as I haven't ever recieved any contact info yet, I'll have to get with Dave and get in touch with some people. I'll be at the meeting though.

I didn't give you people permission to come to my establishment.

Matt, are you talking to Lithia Subaru? If so, I've made contact this summer with Bill Midtgard, Operations Manager (re: alliance with Reno SCCA), so he may be someone to talk to. Depending on what you're asking for.

Ahh yes, Bill Midtgard, the man who never called me back after Lithia Service refused to note that they diagnosed my clutch as being "fine" without bothering to do the test they were told to do by the SOA tech line. 'Course it prolly wasn't Bill's fault I never got called, chances are no one ever bothered to tell him I wanted to talk to him.

omg, I had to pester Lithia about it at least twice between November & January 2003 before they took it in & did the warranty work. Don't know, Bill was pretty personable when I talked to him, and seem interested and supportive of Reno SCCA as well as seccs.org. (He's the one who remembered Evan and mentioned Evan's car.) Maybe we should make a field trip to go talk to him in person sometime.
