I like seccs!

And I like it enough to pay for it!

Seriously, I have been remiss by a year or two, or more, in contributing $$ towards the costs of having this forum available. I just paypal'd $20 tonight, to help defray Scott's out-of-pocket costs for the monthly usage and storage and bandwidth for keeping Subaru Enthusiasts Car Club of the Sierra alive.

If you are like me, and truly enjoy the site, and appreciate the friends and knowledge and help and fellowship you've found here, do what I did:

paypal@seccs.org

ps: this action was not endorsed by Scott, or anyone else in the universe. It was just the right thing to do.

We haven't had a fund raising BBQ or whatever in a while, and Fender roller "rentals" are way down I think.

I'm in, but is that the best way to do it? I hate to have Paypal fees taken out if we can avoid it. I guess whatever works for Scott/Matt who i think keeps the books.

Dean - you make a good point, paypal fees get applied to sending $ for this cause.

It works for me, since it's harder for me to get to a bbq/fender rolling party, but maybe it's time for a gathering of some kind.

You can send PP fees as a Gift (second tab) if they're sourced from a bank account, I believe. That skips the fees.

Debbie has the BEST thread titles ever.

"I like SECCS"

"Little balls falling out"

Pure win.

[goes to check funds in paypal account]

Yep, Scott confirmed no fees were taken when I used this method after the fender rolling contest.

Shooting another $10 over now. Thanks Debbie. :)

Well then! :)

Thanks folks (especially Debbie!) for putting this together unprompted! I really appreciate anything you guys contribute.

Also keep in mind that we still have stickers for sale (I bring them to the meets, but forget to peddle them) that support the SECCS coffers.

Dean 2010-01-26 10:44 AM

I'm a little cheaper than Debbie, but will pitch in $20 for a couple stickers. (normally, $5 ea. right?)

The Audi needs some. ;) and maybe the truck.

Paypal, or cash/check at the meet?
