Bumper Foam
 

Hey guys, I washed my car today and noticed a piece of foam sticking out from the bottom of my front bumper. I pulled it out and found the part on a blown out parts diagram found here. The part number on the diagram is 8.

Just what does this do?

Haha, I figured it was fairly useless, I just wanted to make sure.

It holds the bumper in place a bit more firmly. If you have noticed, once that piece of foam is removed the bumper seems to be loose. Although it isn't completely necessary, your car will feel more quality with the foam piece in there.
