Serious clutch install issue.

Ok so we got my car put together finally but when you try to throw it into gear it makes a super loud metal grind sound and the clutch itself when pressed down feels WAY too light as if it's not connected. Anyone have any ideas or do i need to pay 800 bucks for a professional install? Bleeding the slave cylinder would have absolutely nothing to do with this right?? Please help guys. We made sure clutch and everything was aligned so i don't think it's that. Tranny bolted on tight and perfect after like 3 tries.

Did you use the clutch with those jacked up splines? Did you get them fixed? There's no need for a professional install unless you really dont feel like dealing with it.

Fuck man. So we bled it and it made the clutch stiff/tight but now it simply won't go into any gear. Clutch was installed improperly.

Are you guys over there working on it now?

No. I found a shop that will reinstall for 400 bucks. Every other shop quoted 600 plus.
