Got the new Starspecs mounted and balanced today. I mentioned that I knew "Alex, that Jesus looking Dude who's always there buying tires and wheels," :P and I got $20 off. Great service. I opted to reuse the valvestems and it was $52 OTD including disposal of the old tires.

He told me that they pricematch Tirerack too. I said, yah, but I got a $50 rebate, and he said, "that's no problem"...whatever that means. Guess it would have saved me a trip.

He price matches TR because he buys from TR, and he gets the rebate flyer for eligible tires. :lol: Same goes for just about everybody that's not one of the chain stores around here.

Now you tell me. That would have saved me a trip to TR. No biggie.

I go there for tires all the time those guys are nice and honest I bought a set of tires from them and two weeeks latter there was a lump in my tire and he said it wouldn't hurt anything but next time I come in and get a set one will be free. When I went later to get the new set he didn't remember saying anything like that but said it sounds like something his son would say and honored the deal. :)

Um, a tire with a bubble in it should have been immediately replaced...

Yea that's what the guy said he says his son probably told me it wouldn't hurt and he was going to talk to him. But he fixed it so I forgive them

Oh, okay. I thought you meant you kept it until you bought new tires later.
