Transmission Fluid Change / Cooler Install

Hey guys. I am going to be installing my tranny cooler this weekend. I need to order some tranny fluid. I have decided to go with Motul Dexron III. It comes in a 2 qt. bottle. Does anyone know off-hand how many quarts I am going to need?

Here are the specs of the Motul Dexron III:

Quote:

A Technosynthese® lubricant for automatic transmissions, torque converters and hydraulic circuits.

It is the reference for automatic transmissions wherever Dexron or Mercon standards are recommended. Its resistance to oxidation is reinforced; it is more fluid at low temperatures permitting smoother gear changes. Dexron III is the latest development in the Dexron specification.
Anti-wear, anti-corrosion, anti-froth.

Technosynthese® approved General Motors Dexron III F-30336/Ford Mercon M 950805/ Allison C-4/ Caterpillar TO-2/Voith/09/11/14
I figure I am going to loose a lot of tranny fluid after this install, so might as well just do the switch to synthetic.

Suggestions? Comments?

I'm pretty sure the 4EAT uses a lot more than 2qts... The specs are in the car's manual IIRC.

I guess its 3.7 or 3.8 qts. I just wanted to make sure this Motul wasn't a additive or something you had to add to something else. So if I get 4 qts of the Motul.....I should be okay I assume.

I'm all about entertaining the group.

The manuel doesn't tell you what synthetics to use. I found the qt size...but still I would like to make sure that I am filling my tranny with the proper fluids.
