What are you looking at for your next ride?

Oh yeah, and why???

wrxkidid 2010-09-28 09:20 AM

I hate college budgets :(

This car is a blast to ride in! Id love to own it...too bad life comes first.

rory_a 2010-09-28 10:07 AM

yeah this makes me shed a tear on multiple levels - I'd love to see this car run (hopefully this weekend? :)), love to own a properly built STI, and definitely can't afford it.

But, I'd also love to see what Matt comes up with next...

MattR 2010-10-28 05:12 PM

Edit: Nevermind... it doesn't have a proper gearbox. :(

rory_a 2010-10-29 10:34 AM

That is sad. Wish I actually made money, that would have eliminated my current thoughts :(

Oh, and that Caymen is the seccs.

Porsche never did adapt the DSG gearbox, did they? One of the items they could really benefit to borrow from VW/Audi/Lambo/Bugatti.

sybir 2010-10-29 01:55 PM

End of an era. Pouring one out, one LGNWAGN to another.

Yes they have it - PDK. Some of the numbers the new Turbo is puiting down with it are crazy.

Sorry to see it go Matt. I agree with Scott though. Find a 6 speed Cayman S! I was at the dealer the other day and they had the new Boxster Speedster on display - awesome, but $67K!

sybir 2010-10-30 07:17 PM

The Speedster is an awesome car, I fell in love with it when I saw it.

I just remembered it is named Spyder, but I think you know what I meant.

sybir 2010-10-30 07:44 PM

Yeah, yeah :)

I'm a dork, but I love the way the top works, and the tiedown points on it.

knucklesplitter 2010-11-02 05:10 PM

I drove this STI to lunch today...

MattR 2010-11-02 05:21 PM
