Does anyone need lights from superbrightleds.com?

I need to get some bulbs for my dash so I figured that if anyone wants to get anything from there maybe we can just combine the order to save on shipping. LMK

Are you finally making your dash blue? Can I get in on that action? I also want a 9-bulb dome light from there. I'll have to get back to you on the deets of the bulb.

Edit: the bulb I want is bulb number 3022-x4 and 3022-x9, I want one with 4 bulbs in the natural white and one with 9 bulbs in the cool white.

Also, for anyone curious, I can tell you that their cool white looks kind of purple, but I dunno about the color of the actual light coming from the bulb.

Here's a guide to bulb numbers for different years, makes, and models

I changed it to blue years ago and then the LED rings died. So its been black since we planned on buying lights last time. Like a year ago... or longer.

I have some dash lights out. My gauge cluster looks dim in a couple areas. Will you fix it for me?

100_Percent_Juice 2010-10-15 10:06 AM

Are you being serious? If so, Rob and I are going to get together and change the color of his cluster and fix mine at the same time. You are welcome to join us. We are probably going to order the lights tomorrow so let me know if you need some.

I did this back in 07 and it had really awesome results but only lasted about 2 years before some of the LEDs went bad.

This is what we are going to do since it looks way easier and it seems to produce better results.

I'm being serious. My gauge cluster is dim in a couple areas and I want you to fix it for me. I'm assuming you don't want to do it though and I'm too lazy to do it myself. I'll give you a Logitech wheel if you do it for me?

100_Percent_Juice 2010-10-15 11:35 AM

I don't mind replacing some bulbs for you. Do you know how many you need? Are they stock bulbs or have you replaced them before?

cody 2010-10-15 11:39 AM

It's all stock. The Logitech wheel is really old and crappy. I can buy you beer or something. Could it just be a fuse? It's two areas by the tach and speedo that seem to have gone dim at the same time.

100_Percent_Juice 2010-10-15 11:45 AM

There are 6 bulbs in there. Let me see if I can find a picture.

100_Percent_Juice 2010-10-15 11:47 AM

You can keep your wheel. There is a bulb on the far right probably about where 8k is and then there is one between the speedo and tach at about 120mph.

cody 2010-10-15 11:49 AM

I'll have to look at it tonight. I'll see if I can take a pic or something.

Dammit, doesn't anyone have a home for my free crappy Logitech wheel?

100_Percent_Juice 2010-10-15 11:55 AM

Honestly. If you are going to replace the bulbs with LEDs, you might as well do all six. The factory bulbs are really dim compared to LEDs so it would look weird.

cody 2010-10-15 12:03 PM

Oh okay. No biggie. Where can I score bulbs? Are they easy enough to replace?

100_Percent_Juice 2010-10-15 12:22 PM

Dealership or online maybe. I have never bought any myself. Its not too hard to replace them.
