Borrow HD Video camera? (Go Pro, Flip or other)
 

I did not have time to wander the paddock today at RFR to see who I might mooch off of...

Tomorrow, Sunday, I get to use my SCCA banquet prize and go for a glider ride and thought it would be cool to take some video, but everything I have is SD. My still camera is 12mp, so those will be fine, but it only does 640x480 30fps video. :(

Anybody crazy enough to loan me something High Definition? 720p or higher? Will be inside the plane, not out.

And no, I will not trade you for my ride, or go buy one. :P

I will share any video/stills I take though.

Well, depending on what you want to do, you can use my DSLR camera that can record in 780p at 30fps or 1080 at 20fps. I have the cannon Rebel T1i.

It doesn't auto focus so it wouldn't be good for panning between close and far shots. Let me know if you are interested in borrowing it and I can give you a little more information about how it works.

Appreciate the offer, but that is a bit larger and more expensive if something happens to it :) than I was hoping for.

If its not too late already, I have a GoPro. I just got it actually. I still haven't filmed anything with it. Let me know if you want to borrow it.
