FS: Brand new DBA 4000 Slotted Rear Rotors

So the story is I bought new dba slotted rear rotors over the summer and just got around to putting them on tonight, and the box says 04-10 STI but we put them on my 08', torque down the wheels, and car didnt move. I called Rallysport and they said the part number is for 04-07 STI. So Now I can't drive my car and I need to sell these asap to buy new ones.. Retail they're $310, I'm selling them for $220.

let me know

How can they fit 04-07 STI? The 04 has 5x100 rotors and 05 and up has 5x114.3.

What part number are they?

GusGus91 2012-02-15 11:00 PM

They're dual drilled.

khail19 2012-02-15 11:01 PM

Oh, didn't know they did that with rotors. GLWS!

Um... if you bought the wrong rotors because they are mislabeled... send them back! It's not like a few months of them sitting in the garage makes them un-resellable to the store unless they got jacked up somehow.

I already tried. They said they won't take them back because it's been too long since they were ordered. that was the first thing I tried.

Seriously?

What vendor is this so I can not order stuff from them.

Lots of people buy rotors for spares so they can have them on-hand to swap them at the track, for example. I'd be *pissed* if the years-old spare set of StopTech rotors I've got in my pit box for my WRX end up not fitting because they were miss-labeled for my car and StopTech refused to trade me out for the correct ones simply because I didn't use them right away!

Rallysport Direct
They are usually really good about stuff like this, just not this time I guess.
These rotors were originally mine, they sent me two sets of rears for my car. One that actually fit and these. If we had tried to put these on my car first we would have known they were wrong much sooner and I'm sure they would have taken them back. I think this was around July last year I don't exactly remember.

They didn't get messed up at all.. They were sitting in my parts room on a shelf with nothing else on them since we did the brakes on joes Sti. That seems very unreasonable of them. Like joe said, theyre usually pretty good.

BUMP!!! $220 takes them!

Ever make it down to Sac? If they're just slotted and not drilled I'll take them.

Yep just slotted. Not drilled. I don't make it to sac to often, but if somrbody here is going down and wouldn't mind taking them or I can send them to you without a problem if it doesn't cost a ton.
