Haha, I wonder how far down the list MINI is? My guess would be the bottom.

Great news for Subaru, I would agree.

"CR continued to find BMW and Mercedes-Benz controls "frustrating" but lauded their finish. road manners and a climb to "average" in reliability -- while noting that some popular models still are subpar on that fron, including Mercedes' S-Class sedan and GL SUV and BMW's turbocharged Mini Coopers and the 5 Series BMW sedans."

Yes, I just received my "Your MINI will burst into flames immediately" recall information  So it will be going into the dealer for some TLC. I haven't had any issues with mine, but i guess the water pump failures have led to some rather kablamo-style infernos.

That's not as bad as my F-250 which is supposed to just burst into flames while sitting parked in the driveway.

Out of 100, Subaru got 75, which made it to the top. For the first time, Subaru has earned the top score. On the other hand, Nissan and Toyota had the most models that Consumer Reports recommended buying. I got the report here: Top of Consumer Reports best cars list belongs to Subaru.
