Interested in the RCE yellows and the Strut tower bar. We could met up whenever you pull the springs out of storage. I have a few sets of springs including RCE Blacks (currently installed) so if you need a set for another build we could figure something out.

Throw in the Mines Trunk so I can afford to have it painted MBP? :D

Ahren

rory_a 2012-05-25 01:18 PM

I'll try to grab the springs this afternoon, we made it super difficult to get to the back of the garage last time we were out :(

I'm set for suspension at this point, super happy with the KWs!

rory_a 2012-05-29 09:14 AM

Saggy Butt Shims sold!

Any more takers before I go Nasioc on this stuff?

rory_a 2012-05-29 11:24 AM

I'll get some pictures going and whatnot, and but...

17x8" +45 Limited Edition Matte Black Enkei RPF1 wheels, a few thousand miles, some marks from mount/balance, no curbing, straight and true, etc. Yellow stickers..... No tires.

$800. $200+ off retail, no tax, no shipping, etc. I think it's a good deal, so I'm FIRM at this point.

You should put those on and get rid of the 18s...

rory_a 2012-05-29 01:29 PM

lmao.

SoyKraut 2012-05-31 12:43 AM

Umm....not to be the guy who buys all your used sh*t but.....interest in the wheels as well!

P.S. RCE yellows and Strut tower bar sold to me! Bump for best seller ever. Thanks Rory!

SoyKraut 2012-05-31 12:45 AM

BTW...interest in the 18's as well. Yeah, I guess I am that guy.

rory_a 2012-05-31 09:52 AM

Thanks again Ahren!

Both sets of wheels are available, definitely more interested in keeping the 18s than the 17s though, 17s will be unmounted next week or so.

Just need to sell the 17s to buy 255/35/18 tires...

rory_a 2012-06-02 07:16 PM

17" RPF1s will be dismounted and available this week...

SoyKraut 2012-06-02 09:05 PM

Do I want them? Yes! Do I need them? No. Will I still buy them? Probably. If no one beats me to it that is!

rory_a 2012-06-04 03:35 PM

Another I'll need to get pics of..... Custom Auto Sound (?) under-passenger-seat sub box with 10". Came with the car, but since I installed the Recarros and it didn't fit it's been hanging out in the spare tire well, and doesn't really fit there.

I've seen these go for $250+ on Nasioc, so I'm planning to start there.

Perfect condition, running it now, hear it play, etc., blah.

khail19 2012-06-04 08:51 PM

If we can work out a trade I'm interested in the underseat box. Is it fiberglass or all MDF?

rory_a 2012-06-05 06:07 PM

Honestly not sure but think its glass. It's molded to fill the underseat area and get held in place by the seat, so I'd say glass. Covered in black carpet. It's in the car down at KSpeed for the next few days but we can let up this weekend so you can check it out.

I'm not an audio guy so I'm no help :(

khail19 2012-06-05 06:38 PM

Sounds like fiberglass to me as well. I'm pretty sure it would fit my Forester, the floorpans are pretty much the same as the Impreza. I'm off Sunday and Monday, maybe we can meet up and look at it. I can bring my enclosure and subs if you want to see those as well.

rory_a 2012-06-06 10:16 AM

pm'd

rory_a 2012-06-06 10:17 AM

Added TiC Holy Shift Kit bushing set for '06+ 5MT Narrow - factory SPT short shifter or GC 5MT, will separate.

It's fiberglass. It's this one.

P.S. Rory, buy wingless trunk springs! Damn thing tries to throw the entire decklid onto the roof when you pull the release!

khail19 2012-06-06 05:50 PM

Yeah, that looks right. Thanks Cory for the pic.

rory_a 2012-06-07 11:39 AM

Thanks Cory, is that mine, or another you tracked down?

And I'm hoping to get the winged trunk back on this weekend...

MPREZIV 2012-06-07 02:39 PM

I just did a google image search for it, after looking at yours, so I could help you guys out. That's the exact same one tho.

Jeikun 2012-06-11 05:45 PM

How hard is the shifter bushing installs on a scale of "installing a rear sway bar" to "rebuilding an engine"?

I have the factory short shifter in my 06 so they'd be perfect for me.

Kevin M 2012-06-11 06:51 PM

It ranks at "installing shifter bushings." :p

The fronts are pretty cake provided you can get the car off the ground far enough to crawl under it. The rear one is a bit of a pain, but not impossible. It's tough to reach and you will need an assortment of extensions and/or ratchet handles for it.

Shift lever pivot bushings: http://www.scoobymods.com/showthread...18.html?t=6418

Front Bushing: http://www.scoobymods.com/showthread...24.html?t=2124

Rear Bushing: http://www.scoobymods.com/showthread...49.html?t=5049

5MT Linkage Bushing (this one's for an STi, but should be similar enough): http://turninconcepts.com/instructio...ngs/index.html

Not too difficult. I wish I had ordered the parts to do these on my STi back when I did the tranny crossmember bushings and whatnot. Probably a few hours, most under the car for most people. I'd think a couple max for a decent shop.
