So I let a friend drive my 05 STi (stupid idea) and he ended up pushing the car so hard it blew my turbo to bits. One bit of which shot down the exhaust and ended up by the end of my muffler.

Well from what I can gather the 05 STi shortblock is the same as the 06 WRX shortblock so I think thats what I'm gonna be doing & parting out all the stuff I don't need/cant use off the 06 engine.

Would a 06 WRX Turbo engine fit into an 04 STi?

Would any special modifications be required?
