This is nothing to worry about. The cap allows the system to pressurize, thus raising the boiling point.

I would test the cap or just replace it if it is not holding pressure.

btw that was the best price I could find for anyone else considering this product.

Make sure you are tuned for the exhaust as well. I use a Cobb ap ver.2. This is a great unit if you plan on just doing basic mods. If you plan to go further than you will probably want a custom tune....
