I think for the first 4/32 or so go faster on snows than AS. A good AS will also typically have better handling in the dry and wet.

Heck, if you are not going out in the deep stuff regularly, there are some great M&S all seasons that will last much longer as long as you don't autocross on them. :)

285/30/18 is the matching tire size for the STI and the holly grail of track/autocross tires for the car, but making them fit, especially on an '04 is near impossible. '05+ can be done.

Just an FYI, that is just the connector. there is only 1 on clutch wire regardless. On the "3 wire" the other two loop back in the connector and it is an easy swap out the connector in either case....
