Yes, DSMs arnt the most sturdy thing ever built, but to generalize is wrong. Same with Ryan's comment about Subaru's. There is always an exception.

I know I havent had the best luck with DSMs, but...

Some day Sam, you will learn. Weve told you that its all in how the car is kept. DSMs get a bad rap because they get beat on alot. What would you expect from a cheap, turbo four cylinder?

It was blue, then they Kryloned it flat black. They also removed the wing, added Sparcos with harnesses and a harness bar, and added HKS Hyper-max coilovers.

I agree, and think that a cage is the best solution. BUT, I dont think this car will be pushed to the limits of needing a cage. The car will be mostly a street car, that does some auto x, open track...
