Like mentioned above it is the mouse...
Like mentioned above it is the mouse precision/control/speed that gives you an edge over an analog stick.
Similar to why I prefer using the touch pad on my laptop rather than the keyboard 'tit'.

I just had the ol' CEL/blinky cruise the other day. I dismissed it as overboost or some such non-sense. AP said 'No Codes Found!" so I issued the 'Reset ECU' command.
A few days later the CEL came...
