I didn't mean my post to look like it was a 3.5hr drive on 162!! That's 3.5 hours *total* from Reno to T-Hill. About an hour and change more than just going to Sac.
I'm thinking there's gotta be a more "direct" route... like HWY 20 or something that cuts across east to west w/o dipping as far south as Sacramento... 'course it would probably take 4 or 5 hours to get there, but at least it would be a kick ass fun drive!
