Yeah those shows are
based in sci-fi future.
That makes them an entirely different show then the crap on regular primetime that uses the sci-fi part as a gimmick on an otherwise regular drama, because they can't think of anything decent to write.
I fuckin love firefly and BSG.
Scott, yeah House is a formulaic hospital drama but you can't really totally write it off for that fact. I would imagine that's what an infectious ward of the hospital is like. The people either die or get curred because the doctor finds the answer.
House has smart writing and interesting characters.
