Hey Dean, since you've never played the game, you don't exactly have any basis for understanding the level of skill exhibited. Plainly and simply, that guy is showing off his drumming skill just as well as if he were playing the song on a real set of drums. Like Nick said, the drumming side of that game is the most realistic aspect of it... i.e. that game's hard, and the guy's got talent. If you don't care, you're not his target audience. I know, it's hard to believe, but the whole internet
isn't being written specifically for you.
Plus, with all the insane waste of time things on the internet

No one bitches about your 600 minutes per weekend of in-car track footage you post up, as if lap 40 is somehow so different from lap 20 that we should be falling over ourselves and complaining to our ISP's "dear god you have to get me more bandwidth, I
have to see what happens next on Dean's in car... I mean I know I just watched him drive around that track 28 times, but the 29th time
something might actually happen!".
Really, if that video wasn't "cool" enough to pass your almighty bar of worthiness, just hit the little "X" on the window and go back to downloading crap on bittorrent that does entertain you. At the very least, spare us the sob story about how you felt like you wasted a whole 20 seconds of your valuable time. Sheesh.
