Long story.
But, Toyota had some deal with GM to import American cars to sell under the Toyota brand. Some sort of esoteric law to allow more imports of Toyota cars to the US or something like that. One of the cars was the Chevy Cavalier. So, there are (not many, cause they didn't sell well) Toyota Cavaliers in Japan.
The above douchenozzle bought one, and crated it over from Japan, and started modding it and taking it to car shows as his RHD JDM Cavalier.
