I am no EE, just a EH. (Electronic Hack). I know enough to be dangerous but way less than a 2nd quarter freshman EE.

Back in the dark ages I designed built and even sold small quantities of an adapter that would let you use an Atari digital joystick in place of the analog Apple ][ joysticks which made many classic arcade games way easier to play. that sounds simple, but isn't quite as it sounds due to how Apple implemented their decoder.
I'm just sayin', no one buys analog 'scopes anymore (hence their cheap prices). The hacker types use PC based units, the pros use the retarded expensive digital scopes. The digital ones are just much more useful, not to mention much easier to use.
