To learn your limits, you must push past them
Default

I am installing front components and hooking them to a 4 channel amp that will also be running a sub. I am also installing 5 1/4 speakers in the rear which will be running off HU power.

I think I checked if they were phased correctly by hooking the wires up to a AA battery.

I just twist the wires together the way I think it should be set up and touch the ends to the +/- of the battery. I pay attention to the wires touching the pos terminal of the battery. If the speaker pushes 'out' then those wires are postive, if the speaker sucks in then those wires are negative...is that right?

I am matting/sound foaming the doors so my big concern is getting everything done, put back together, and then realizing something is out of phase. There is always a chance of breaking/scratching something the more you have to take it off. Especially things like those damn door handle trim pieces.

I'm one of those guys that gets everything done and is just paranoid something was done wrong.
