The problem wasn't caused by their work otherwise I assume they would have paid to fix it. If someone does work for you and the "work" part of the job is good, why wouldn't you have them work for you again. I doubt anyone knew the motor was going to splode. You should always read warranty paperwork. Hell, you should always read through any paperwork that you get.
